Bahia Shriners Donation Programs
Donate to the local Bahia Shriners Hospital Transportation Fund! Your local Bahia Shriners work all year to raise funds to transport our patients who need assistance to our hospitals for emergency and regular checkup visits.
The average Air Ambulance trip to the Cincinnati Burn Unit costs our fund about $14,000. You can make a contribution by calling the Bahia Shriner's Center at 407-660-8811 and designating your donation to the Transportation Fund for local use, or Directly to the Shriners Hospital. Shriners Hospitals 100 Million Dollar Club
The Club is an endowment fund for the benefit of the Shrine Orthopaedic Hospitals and Burn Institutes. Interest only is used for operating expenses - the principal remains intact. Contributions are tax deductible. A Certificate of Membership, signed by the Imperial Potentate, is issued to each donor. Contributions may be made by having a bequest in your Will for the Shriners Hospitals for Children, or by making a cash contribution of at least $100.00.
This program started in 1972 at a time when the Shrine was approaching one million members and if each member would donate $100, there would be $100 million in the fund....thus the name, 100 Million Dollar Club
Bahia Shrine has made over 8,500 contributions since the program began in 1972.
