Mitchell L. Lokken

lokkenMitchell L. Lokken was born in Eau Claire Wisconsin and moved to Central Florida in 1994. Officially started his Masonic career in 2005 when he petitioned a lodge and was raised to the sublime degree of Master Mason at Orange Blossom Lodge No. 80 in Kissimmee, Florida serving as Worshipful Master in 2010.

In 2007 he joined the Scottish Rite Valley of Orlando currently serving as Chairman of the Backstage Crew with the responsibility to make sure that all materials are available and set up proper to perform each degree.  

In 2007 he became a Noble of Bahia Shrine and quickly became an active member starting with our annual Circus, later joined the Iron Horses becoming an officer and elected President in 2010.  Having had the opportunity to serve Bahia Shriners as Membership
Chairman, in 2011 serving as Second Ceremonial Master, 2012 as First Ceremonial Master and 2013 as Oriental Guide.

Being involved in numerous Bahia functions such as Paper Crusade, Parades, both unit and temple fundraisers, Sam Swope Charity Ride, East–West Shrine Game including driving patients to the hospital or in generally assisting anywhere that he could be of help to Bahia.  His goal was and still is to enhance Bahia with the general public and our membership to move Bahia in a successful path to be here for many years to come.  

As a personal note, Mitch and his wonderful lady Stephanie were married in August of 2013.

Being raised in a strong Masonic family with his father and most of his extended family being Masons and Shriners.  At an early age Mitch was involved with local community fundraisings for charities like MDA, Easter Seals and Shrine Hospitals. Continuing today with many various community charities, just to name a few The Faine House, Central Florida Children’s Home and Give Kids the World.

With his chosen profession being in the Travel and Tourism business having spent time in various management positions he was offered leadership positions to attend training programs including his own department with Marriott Hotels.  Other opportunities continue to develop as General Sales Manager for a concierge company in Orlando plus Manager of Operations at a large resort hotel in Lake Buena Vista.

In 2002 Mitch moved toward his personal dreams of running and owning a resort by working for Preferred Guest Resorts which is involved in national programs and was building more resorts with partnership opportunities that is available, becoming a part owner of a resort.  Completing the first stage of his dream owning a resort.  Now being one of the major partners, he continues to exceed in the vacation ownership business.  Mitch is currently serving as Vice President of Reservations and Customer Care in addition to owning Transcend Marketing and Financial Services which is contracted to facilitate marketing and services for resorts worldwide.
