ANTIQUE CARS BSC
The Antique Cars BSC was formed in 1994 with the charter being presented to
President Larry Gilbreath at the November Stated Meeting by Potentate
Thomas E. Embree. Ill.
Sir Embree was a charter member of this Club proudly showing off his
1915 Ford Roadster during the Club's activities.
The Charter Officers were Pres. Larry Gilbreath, VP Jake Gulibon,
Treas. Charles Lang, and Secty Buddy Sharpe.
Membership in the Club is open to Nobles who have antique or vintage cars
(at least 20 years old) or just a common interest in such vehicles.
The members drive their cars in Shrine and community parades for the enjoyment
of the on lookers and to bring attention to the good work of our Shrine Hospitals.
In addition to participating in and supporting all Bahia activities, the members
and their Ladies enjoy the fellowship afforded by caravaning in their vehicles to
Central Florida restaurants on weekends. The Club puts on an Antique Car Show
annually at the Shrine Center not only displaying their vehicles
but inviting Central Florida antique car clubs to display their vehicles as well.
The shows are open to the general public there by providing
Shrine exposure to many non-Shriners and non-Masons
