History of Bahia Provost Guard

The Provost Guard was chartered in 1955. 

Since its inception, the Provost Guard has been performing all the duties assigned to it in a professional and Fraternal manner. 

The Provost Guard is a working Unit of the Bahia Shrine. 

Another purpose of the Provost Guard is to help all Shriners be gentlemen and set proper standards of conduct and decorum. 

The Provost Guard helps police all Shrine activities and gathering, providing protection for property, members, and guest. Members attend all Stated and Special meetings in uniform. They assist with line-up for Shrine Parades and Crowd Control.
