Ian’s Masonic interest started as a young child hearing stories told by his family as his Great Grandfather was a Master Mason and thus sparking his interest in Fraternal life bringing him to where he is today.

After graduating Florida State University 1999, Ian was looking for the brotherhood and history that Masonry had to offer.!
He petitioned Winter Park Lodge #239 in 2003 and was raised to the sublime degree of Master Mason. He also became a member of the Scottish Rite Valley of Orlando in2011 and joined the Knights of St. Andrew.

His Shrine career began in2004and he has served as Official Family Aide for two years, Membership Chairman for two years, Second Ceremonial Master and currently is serving as First Ceremonial Master for 2

Ian’s love for motorcycles and masonic outreach led him to the local chapter of the Widows Sons Masonic Riders Association. Ian has served as President of the Knights of Solomon (Orlando Chapter) for three years and prides his brothers as being the strongest Chapter in the State of Florida in both membership and community involvement.

Ian is past elected President of the Drum and Bugle Corps, past Treasurer of the Bahia Jazz Band and an active member of the Cigar Club, and Directors Staff. He is also the current Secretary of Iron Horses where he is in line to be elected President in 2015.!His biggest challenge and adventure is helping to develop and build the Sportsman’s Expo. Ian’s community contacts and strong desire to build new and exciting events for the Nobility has made this event one of many that Ian hopes to implement into our calendar and start to get Bahia involved back in the Central Florida Community.

Ian believes in strong community involvement and has served active roles for several community and national charities. Ian is currently serving as Senior advisor to the newly chartered Sigma Alpha Epsilon Chapter at Rollins College.

Professionally, Ian served in both senior design and project management positions at several of Central Florida’s largest architectural firms.

His current role as Southeast Regional Sales Manager for Sistemalux Lighting and iGuzzini Lighting North America allow Ian to help lead and develop his network of over 30 agents throughout his region.

Ian and his Lady Deana have been married for five years. Their daughter Riley Marie is 2.5 years old and is the joy of Ian and Deana's life.
